Do not be like the foolishness of “religious” error burying the living to an eternal death (thinking they are saved before visiting the watery tomb of Christ). The Bible says we are only born again/alive/forgiven/saved/added once we have been buried/died to our old self/sins. You bury a dead person, not a live one! Which is why a believer having faith/trust in the blood of Christ the risen Son of God submits to baptism for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38)
Repent (Luke 13:3) of the error you have been though for decades in false “churches” peddling the word for profit while clinging to a form of godliness yet denying its power, tickling the ears of the weak.
Submitting to being immersed in water belongs to a true believer for a spiritual circumcision made by a physical observance (Col 2:11-12). It is NOT a works of merit to which one earns salvation (you must repent of such false teaching!), one can NEVER earn forgiveness. We are saved by grace through faith (Eph 2:8) the moment we are immersed in water "not for the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 3:21) knowing you love Him by obeying His commands (John 14:15)
Come study with us as we look into the knowledge of faith that only comes by the Word of Christ (Rom 10:17)
