My name is Stephane H. Maillet. I am a 2019 graduate of the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Karns TN. I came to SEIBS from the Riverview church of Christ in N.B. Canada. It is my desire to continue the work of the Lord along with the Riverview congregation in this area of Canada.
The Riverview body of believers was planted in 1976 and meets in a converted house. Before I went to SEIBS, I was laboring there as an evangelist for 6 years. My family and I are excited to go back to the work here and help the brethren in Riverview.
In order for us to minister in Riverview N.B. Canada, we continue to raise support. This support covers living expenses and expenses associated with the ministry itself.
There are millions of souls on this Coast without any trained gospel preacher. The area that the Riverview church serves has a similar socio political climate as the United States but is more advanced in moral degradation. This is a worthy work in need of support. If you are able to support this work, please contact me using the information provided below. Thank you in advance for your consideration and prayers. Sincerely yours, Stephane H. RECOMMENDATION To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter on behalf of Stephane Maillet and his family, to encourage you to consider supporting him in his good work.
Due to immigration policies, Stephane and his family must return to their home country of Canada. They are going to return to the Riverview congregation in New Brunswick, Canada, where Stephane was preaching prior to coming to the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville, TN.
I am familiar with the congregation Riverview, where Stephane will be working. I have visited the Riverview congregation three times to preach in gospel meetings. It’s a good, sound congregation, planted in a very difficult area. The church needs to be there, and I am thankful that Stephane and his family are willing to undertake the challenges he knows are ahead of him there.
Prior to Stephane’s arrival at the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies, I knew that he was zealous for the gospel. However, after his arrival, I quickly learned his Bible knowledge matched his zeal. Stephane is a man who knows the truth and cannot contain it. He can strike up a conversation about Jesus with anyone, anywhere, and that is exactly what kind of man the church at Riverview needs.
I am aware that there are many deserving works; more than resources available, but I can assure you that your investment in Stephane and his family, and the church at Riverview will be money, encouragement, and prayers well spent.
If you have any questions about Stephane or the work in Riverview, please feel free to contact me.
I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call me at 865-274-3479. Sincerely, Steve Higginbotham Preaching Minister at the Karns church of Christ
MISSION VISION ACTIVITY
Brethren. With your continued prayer and growing support. The East Coast receives the good news of Jesus Christ. This land is spiritually starving. It needs a steady source of truth, reality. Compassion, love. Strength and courage.
Yes, the beauty of the Maritimes is in current socio and political chaos. For its citizens do not know Christ in His accuracy. We seek to remedy the wound. There is much potential in this untapped Nation. For there are souls on the soil needing to know the Bible. Remotely tucked away and spiritually segregated. We shall strive to set our Master's city on a hill.
Mission Vision for the R.N.B. Canada congregation.
Maintain my 3 point system of evangelism (i.e. digital & physical - REACH THE FAITHLESS - RENEW THE FALLEN - REINFORCE THE FAITHFUL: “ninja/cold/shadow - personal/warm - public/open”). All of which generate religious thought and fruit, influence and presence in the community.
Build rapport and influence, making a connection on local soil. Whether it be the cashier, hairdresser, grocery store worker, bank teller, restaurant waitress. Whoever is open for discussion. Leaving numerous impressions and website cards. Invitation to studies and worship. Religious discussion. And friendship.
Establish a connection with our members, evaluate their spiritual position and proceed to minister accordingly. Further, connect to their immediate family and friends for conversion or renewal potential.
Build “ADDEDSOULS” studio producing weekly gospel content for our digital influence in the area.
*In the age of technology, to be void of digital connection is to lack wisdom in gospel reach. Paul would have us “become all things to all men.” How can that be achieved if we are not found evangelizing where 4.5 billion souls are assembled?
Read, study, and write sermons, articles, and create verse charts on a daily basis.
Preach and teach (i.e. Wed. evenings, Sunday AM & PM).
Establish Sat. afternoon opportunities at the assembly house welcoming members, friends & family, and community contacts. So as to have a more personal (perhaps less formal and intimidating) atmosphere which helps us to know each other better. It allows us the fellowship of discussion to achieve like moral mind. And it guides us into Scriptural study.
Host annual, and monthly gospel workshops. Meetings. Weekends. Themes. Inviting all faithful brethren potentially willing to come participate and speak.
Do my utmost best to educate and grow the congregation into self financial support. Appointing elders and deacons. And in turn become active in mission help and various other ministries (i.e. plant other churches in the Province to accommodate both spoken languages, and build a Bible school to further solidify gospel presence on the East Coast).
Participate in fellowship meals. Cleaning the building. Hosting devotionals, socials, and all other manners of church culture and growth.
Maintain a faithful home in which my wife homeschools. My children grow in the Bible. And to father the leadership into proper spiritual direction.
Remaining legal and law-abiding even within a spiritually hostile government and community.
Mail out monthly (or bi-monthly) update reports to all who are spiritually invested in this work with us. You are greatly appreciated and loved. Count yourself blessed to be part of a very few who understand the need for support on this land.
Make our way to the US once per year (or bi-yearly) in order to participate in PTP (or another lecture of sorts) to gain encouragement and remain connected with brethren Stateside.
Pursue further Bible education by getting my masters in the following years through online courses.
Friends, we currently have $2,025/per month raised. We must reach another $2,975/per month. This would make sure all the above listed objectives, are active and growing. We have less than 60 days left to attain the goal. Please contact me today in order to get involved.

One faithful congregation of our Lord, the church of Christ which meets in Riverview. And that's why we're urgently raising the necessary support. No amount is too small. Special contributions and one time donations are more than welcomed.
