Hear - Believe - Repent - Confess - Immersed - Faithful

The grace of God gives us an education if we so choose to learn, it teaches us everything there is to know about repenting from sin (Luke 13:3), receiving forgiveness (Acts 22:16) and living a faithful life (2 Tim 2:11). Without this knowledge we fail miserably and remain spiritually lost/blind (Hosea 4:6), a reality for many (Matt 7:13).
We should never be ashamed of the education we receive from the gospel of Christ, why deny such love? Sin is why many do (Isaiah 59:2) and in today’s world it often takes the image of “religious” error (1 Tim 4:1, 2 Tim 4:3).
The faithful are to stand firm in defense of our trust in Christ (1 Peter 3:15). How can we do so without the teachings of God and His grace? We cannot, which is why so many who profess to be “saved/Christians” cower away when questioned on their beliefs.
Those who receive the teachings of scripture and believe in them have a faith of obedience (Heb 11:6) resulting in salvation (Acts 2:41) that will last till the end (Rev 2:10). But a dead faith (“faith alone”) never produces any fruits of forgiveness and growth (James 2), it masquerades as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14) but in the end it leads to death (Pro 14:12). The blind leading the blind hold to a form of godliness while denying its power (2 Tim 3:5), do not be yoked with such souls (2 Cor 6:14).
This is why our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made it very simple for us, if we believe and submit to baptism (Acts 8:36) for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38) we shall indeed receive peace and comfort as we are spiritually added (Acts 2:47) to the body of Christ (Col 1:18), His church (Matt 16:18). If we do not obey we remain damned, let the reader know (2 Thess 1:8-9).
This is the gospel truth commanded by Christ for all who live this side of the cross (the risen King). Before the cross people lived under the old law of Moses. When Christ was in the flesh and walked among us He lived and fulfilled the old law that prophesied of Him (Matt 5:17). When He had been raised from the dead the old law of works vanished and the new covenant law of Christ took effect (Rom 7:6, Col 2:14).
Come hear the truth on all matters of faith (Rom 10:17)
The churches of Christ salute you (Rom 16:16)
